STANLEY, February 6.
Present.—All. Tender accepted:—T. Brown, £29, repairing road near Gubbins’s. Clerk to write to the Government asking them to gazette road proposed to be closed through section 328 as soon as possible. Council to inspect road between Mintaro and the boundary of Clare District in the direction of Trilling’s Gap. Messrs. Priest and Meany to employ some one to repair crossings near their respective residences. Ford over Walkey Creek to be made. Receipts £30 7s.; payments, £2 18s.
