Public Dinner John Smith

PUBLIC DINNER.—The INHABITANTS of MINTARO and its vicinity have resolved, through their Committee, to ENTERTAIN Mr. JOHN SMITH (late of the Burra), at a PUBLIC DINNER, at his hotel, Mintaro, on Thursday, the 9th of September next, on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of a steam flour-mill about to be erected in Mintaro by that gentleman.
E. B. Gleeson, Esq., S.M., of Clare, has kindly consented to lay the stone, which will take place at 3 p.m., and also to preside at the dinner.
Dinner on table at 6 o’clock p.m. Tickets, 7s. 6d. each, to be had of Messrs. Cox, Brady, and Torr, and the Post Office, Mintaro; Messrs. McKenzie and Lennon, Clare; Messrs. Greenslade and Lower, Penwortham; Messrs. Goldsmith and Ansell, Watervale; Burra Hotel, Mr. Parks, baker, and Aberdeen Hotel, Kooringa.
