Primitive Methodist Chapel, Mintaro. On Monday, the 28th, the children were regaled with tea, cake, and fruit. The adults also sat down to an excellent tea provided gratuitously by the ladies. A public meeting followed, which was addressed by Messrs. Braithwaite, Kinsey, and Pearce. The money raised on the occasion amounted to 13l. 6s., which was considered a large sum for the thinly populated district.’
