Mintaro Slate in Gawler

The Mintaro Slates. — It is pleasant to see Mr. Priest of the Mintaro slate quarries and his men again in Gawler busily employed in rendering our footpaths safe and agreeable and imparting to our main street that improved appearance which this beautiful flagging is so admirably and almost exclusively calculated to effect. In our advertising columns it will be seen that Mr. Priest’s announcing his stay in Gawler as being limited, invites orders and instructions from parties desirous of availing themselves of the improvement which this valuable production of nature communicates to structures of all kinds, whether domestic residences or places of business the coolness of this pecies (sic) of flooring being in this climate a feature of great cosideration (sic).
