MINTARO.
November 15.- A Continental in aid of St. Peter’s Church was held on the grounds of Mr. D. H. Power, Wirrilla, near Mintaro, on Monday evening, when a large concourse of people assembled, and a varied programme of instrumental and vocal selections was carried out by Misses Parsons, Robins, Ward, and Beeton. The grounds were illuminated with Chinese lanterns, and presented the appearance of a veritable fairy land. Supper was provided. The proceeds should be a substantial addition to the church funds.
