MINTARO, May 18.
The rain, which was so much desired, has come at last. On Sunday and that night several good showers fell, and in consequence most of the farmers are busy sowing. While many are scattering the seed, others have been busy gathering in during the hours of darkness some of the fruits of their neighbours’ industry. Clothing has been taken without permission from clotheslines, while fowls and various articles have been stolen.
