Mintaro Monthly Market

MINTARO MONTHLY MARKET.—To be held on the first MONDAY of every month, at noon.—A MONTHLY MARKET for the sale of Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Dairy and Farm Produce, Drays, Carts, and Agricultural Implements, will be held on the first Monday in every month at Mintaro, in the large and commodious stockyards at the south side of the township. Sellers will have an opportunity of obtaining the highest price for their Stock and produce, as an auctioneer will attend on every market day, to SELL BY AUCTION Houses and Land, stock, and every description of property which may be entrusted to him for sale. Teamsters will have an opportunity every month with supplying themselves with first rate cattle for the road, and the butchers of Kooringa, Kapunda, and Clare, will find it to their interest to attend the markets, as the northern settlers can supply them with some of the finest beef and mutton in the colony. We respectfully invite our neighbours and friends to give the market encouragement at first, and a fair trial; and we are certain it must succeed. The first market will be held on the 2nd day of April next.
