Mintaro and Burra Road

MINTARO AND BURRA ROAD.
The Stanley District Council wrote, stating that the road from Mintaro to the Burra was in a very bad stat[e], and asking that the money set apart for the repair of this road might be expended between Mintaro and Walkey Creek. To be informed that all the money available for the portion of road referred to had been expended.

This small, thoroughly charming, largely untouched historic town features some of the most significant and captivating 19th century buildings & ruins in South Australia.

The Mintaro Progress Association Incorporated acknowledges the Ngadjuri people as the Traditional Owners of the Country where Mintaro is situated today, and pays its respect to Elders past and present.
