THE LABOR TROUBLE AT MARTINDALE.
MINTARO, November 6.—Shearing at Mr. W. T. Mortlock’s Martindale station is still going on slowly. Since the strike, the contractors (Messrs. Young and Co.) have experienced great difficulty in keeping the stands filled, and the grass seeds are beginning to become troublesome to the shearers.

This small, thoroughly charming, largely untouched historic town features some of the most significant and captivating 19th century buildings & ruins in South Australia.

The Mintaro Progress Association Incorporated acknowledges the Ngadjuri people as the Traditional Owners of the Country where Mintaro is situated today, and pays its respect to Elders past and present.
